Some quick insect sketches inspired by Sketchbook for the Artist by Sarah Simblet, one of several art books I recently checked out from the library.
It was nice using physical books for reference instead of my phone or laptop. There’s something calming about putting the devices away and spending time surrounded by nothing but paper while drawing.
