The sign above the entrance to Fatty’s Pizza at 587 Cherry Street. We’ve enjoyed plenty of pizza here over the years, and it’s become a favorite spot for locals and visitors downtown.
I’ve been thinking about starting a dedicated album for all the interesting signs I come across, like this one.
It brings back memories of the early days of Flickr, when it wasn’t really about polished portfolios or anything too serious. It was more about these loose, personal collections and little themed sets that turned everyday wandering into a kind of scavenger hunt.
Signs, textures, doors, storefront reflections, all the small things you might otherwise walk past. You noticed more because you gave yourself permission to collect it.
I miss that way of looking at things.
