Sketchbook
I've used dozens of sketchbooks, and Handbook Journal Co. is my favorite. Their sketchbooks are well made, with a cloth cover, elastic closure, and stitched binding with pages that lay flat. The paper works great for mixed media like graphite, ink, markers, and light washes. I mostly use the 8.25 by 5.5 inch portrait size.
